About this Blog

In addition to math, my other favorite subject in school was English.  Since I also love to read, I have been looking for just the right opportunity to combine my two favorite subjects.  After a professional development session where we were "forced" to create a class blog, and after realizing that I now teach the perfect classes to incorporate reading and writing (and I have students willing to respond) I formed this blog.  I plan to use the blog to communicate my enthusiasm for mathematics, learning, and thinking.  In doing so, I hope my students will do the same!

Opinions on the blog posts are entirely my own.

These quotes remind me that even when math can be confusing I have to try it again. I have learned from this class that doing my homework and asking questions helps a ton.
